Trust in the LORD forever! College Bound Vision

Trust in the LORD forever! Isaiah 26:4…
As my Daughter enters her junior year in High School, I can’t help but recognize how quickly time goes by. It seems like yesterday she was pushing around her doll carriage with her favorite doll Pocahontas, wearing a hat on her head, and one of my old purses on her shoulder. What a cutie, it has been a joy to watch her grow up, it also has been a true blessing for me. I thank God for the blessing and the honor and all the glory for allowing this flawed woman to survive a chronic illness; scleroderma and restore me to the point that I am still here for my children.
As she enters a new chapter in her life, I am faithful to trust in the Lord forever… I am also casting my anxieties on him because he cares for me. Because of my illness we have had to move quite a bit, about eight times in nine years. Being a single mom with a disability does provide a challenge, but I submit to you that under God’s economy he has been my husband, my provider, my encourager, my friend and my strength.

This year we will be looking at colleges and my heart beats faster in the excitement for my daughter. Then it also beats faster: Where is the money for the tuition going to come from? Then I am directed look to Lord and in his word I put my hope. I have some scripture cards by my PC on a note holder two of them give me a peace. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10- And God will generously provide all you need. 2 Corinthians 9:8 Those verses were given to me about a year ago when I was going through a very tough season. The truth is, in those season of difficulty we are strengthened through the power of Christ in us.
God’s Word On Suffering…
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, Romans 5:3-5
Verse for Today: Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10
We have the “Mighty Power” of a Sovereign God working in us; Jesus is the joy in your strength. So do not grieve; Trust in the LORD forever- What ever season we are facing at this moment we can trust …the one who calls us is faithful and will do it! Hope in Him never disappoints…
