The Attributes of Love is Life by The Spirit...Kindness
God's Word
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other,
just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:32

This morning as I woke up this one thought came to my mind. Even the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel. Proverbs 12:10 It brought to mind those times when I have been selfish, self-seeking and yes wicked. The worst part of that is when it’s covered up with kindness. In God’s eyes that is cruel. We can best believe there will not be any jewel in our crown for that sort of behavior.
The word of God encourages us to: Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else. 1 Thessalonians 5:15 Kindness is a gracious and poised demeanor, When we look at the list of “The Attributes of Love is Life by The Spirit” in the book of 1 Corinthians 13, we see Patient and Kind . We can also look at the list in the book of Galatians 5 …the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Patience and kindness are there together they are a team. Where there is kindness, patience is there along with it.

Prayer
Heavenly Father …We thank you for your loving-kindness. May we be forgiving and display kindness, compassion and patience toward one another, just as Christ did for us on the cross. That we would look to Jesus in those times stress, difficulty and need so that our anxiousness would turn to emotional distress. That we remain, joyful, thankful and prayerful in all circumstances, for this is your will for us in Christ. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!
