Do Not Worry About Tomorrow...

As I dropped my daughter Jessica to school this morning, there was a teaching on the radio regarding faith and God’s people. The teaching was based on Ephesians 3:20-Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,… God uses ordinary people to do extra ordinary things… James states, You do not have, because you do not ask God. James 4- Jesus states; Ask, Seek, Knock "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Yes, today those words ring so true in my life, today I went to the mail box and I received a letter that stated that my disability benefits are being evaluated because of my earnings during the previous years. My earnings were higher than the limits that are allowed for one working that is also collecting disability benefits. The letter is not straight or direct in any form of explanation so of course I called and got a better explanation. However, it is still not clear in regard to my personal circumstance everything remains vague. I set up an appointment to meet with a counselor, yet in the back of my mind I am thinking I am at risk of losing my benefits completely. I know that I am not physically able to work 40 hours plus. What will happen? How will I pay my financial obligations; rent, food, clothing; etc. etc.? However, the bible encourages us not to worry, about, food, clothing, housing… Worrying can not add a single day to our lives. God knows our need and will provide according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus… I will lift my eyes up to the hills; my help comes from the Lord. I have memorized Hebrews 13:4-8 I was prompted to do so 3 years ago and that is for the season I am in right this moment. Reading the word of God gave me the godly confidence to remain calm, pray in faith for God's provision.
