Prayer for Joy in Victory!

Psalm 21-Prayer for Joy in Victory!
1 O LORD, the king [Your Daughters] rejoices in your strength. How great is his [her] joy in the victories you give!
2 You have granted him [Your Daughters Prayers for-her Family and Ministry-] the desire of his [ her] heart and have not withheld the request of his [her] lips. Selah
3 You welcomed him [her] with rich blessings and placed a crown of pure gold on his [her] head.
4 He [she] asked you for life, and you gave it to him [Your Daughters] — length of days, for ever and ever.
5 Through the victories you gave, his [Your Daughters’] glory is great; you have bestowed on him [Your Daughters] splendor and majesty.
6 Surely you have granted him [her] eternal blessings and made him[Your Daughters] glad with the joy of your presence.
7 For the king[Your Daughters] trusts in the LORD; through the unfailing love of the Most High he[Your Daughters] will not be shaken
Verses for Today:
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 16Be joyful always; 17pray continually; 18give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
Encouragement Shared:
This week I had a reminder of what an attitude of joy brings us during the hard times of life, it brings forth victory. On Sunday we had a pot-luck luncheon at my church. During the luncheon one of the sisters was passing out scripture cards to everyone. She said now we have our daily bread through the word of God. I picked out Psalm 30:5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Everyone at my table picked out a verse that was appropriate to where they are at for the moment. My scripture was not fitting for the moment, but it served as a reminder during the week. God’s timing is perfect and his favor last a lifetime.

Joy is what completes us, notice the verses in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 instruct us to be joyful always; pray continually; be thankful in “All” circumstances…That is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. It’s in that attitude of joy that we can rest in the joy of his presence-Psalm 16:11 It is joy that completes us and equips us for every good work in Christ. 1John 1- So regardless of you immediate circumstance remember weeping may last for a night but joy comes in the morning because his favor last a life time.
