For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven… Ecclesiastes 3:1
Time Management … Are you a good Stewart with your time?
Wisdom Shared: Time is a precious commodity that we make great use of. The first thing that is named
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8
In this area of scripture; it is speaking of tithing … Being a cheerful giver and giving what we decide to give not reluctantly or under compulsion. It is also speaking of time ... being a good steward of time is a blessing beyond understanding. The more we value time the more at ease, the peace of God will abide within... I've lived at both ends of the spectrum and I can share that the most peace that I have or my family has is executing efficient time management. In my personal journey life is sweeter ... when I live with the mindset of valued time vs. being well you know probably are thinking of it a procrastinator. Procrastination takes a hold of me and nothing gets accomplished, and I'm always playing the game of catching up... Catching up on work, on chores, on running errands, on the shopping, cooking, laundry ... You get the idea.

How reluctant are you at the start of things?
• Example 1: The start of the school day?
• Example 2: The start of the work day?
• Example 3: The start of a new season?
• Example 5: The start of a new job or project?
• Example 6: The start of anything that involves giving of your time?
• Example 7: Do you find yourself late to every event?
Because you were distracted by missing socks, nothing to wear or perhaps missing keys or missing wallet?
• Finally : How often do you find yourself under compulsion creating explosive moments just preparing for the day?

Being a good time manager is not something that we wish for… it is something that we must decide to do, then make the commitment to actually do it. It's just the same idea with being late... always racing the clock to get to work, get the kids to practices, get the work project completed "on time" ... Racing the clock is always exhausting and most of the time ... we lose the race with time. It’s just like that famous slogan we all know… “Just Do It!” let’s not just talk about getting organized lets work on actually doing it. At the start of the new school year we want to make the transition from summer to fall simple and stress free for everyone in our home. I personally was not one of those kids that forgot my text books. Or I forgot to do my special homework assignments unless I just did not want to do it… My stresses are about being prepared for every situation that could possibly occur. I had the blessing of spending time with a family member and I observed that each morning was stress filled, yelling match … and one day I lovingly intervened by posing a question- How do you think the beginning of the day with the high level of stress each morning sets up the children for their day in school? Once I posed that question to my beloved family member she made the vow to change how she managed her time in the morning and was successful in the changes.
Setting The Tone:
Truthfully… I shared; I grew up with the same type of stress; yelling; rushing and feeling discouraged
Truthfully… I shared; I grew up with the same type of stress; yelling; rushing and feeling discouraged
even before I arrived at school my day was set for disaster. How we behave sets the tone for our household, our spouse, and mos definitively our children’s behavior…
Beloved, consider those issues in the remaining days this week, in your quiet time journal those things that Seem to add anxiety … stress and emotional tirades at the start of each day… It could be something as simple as a pair of missing socks or homework… Write it down for the next three days.
We can then review those areas of your day that seem to make emotions go astray.
We can then review those areas of your day that seem to make emotions go astray.
This Week Reflection at the Start of the Day:
We will look to implement the skills to undo the morning stresses or for some of us the constant stresses throughout the day … And put on our Best.
• Pray
• Prepare
• Prioritize
• Peace will abound~

We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Philippians 4:13
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundantly,
In Christ Love
