Take Heart - Seek Godly Wisdom
God’s Word -Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12
- . Wisdom …wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. James 3:17
Wisdom Shared: The bible teaches about wisdom being priceless, especially in times of trouble; Wisdom is supreme therefore get wisdom. [Proverbs 4] If you read the bible on a consistent basis you will see the benefits of wisdom. You will experience personal transformation in your character; through God's mercy, grace, understanding and more importantly love. Love binds all godly virtures for the good fight for the faith. Therefore, seek wisdom with God imparts wisdom to all who seek him through his word. Yes sisters, wisdom from above is pure; peace loving; considerate, submissive , filled with mercy- fruitful and impartial and sincere. I know that whenever I am not seeking godly wisdom the results are not very good, not positive, not peace loving or definately not considerate. The truth is when we are not seeking the wisdom from above we can be ineffective and unproductive. So my desire and my prayer for today to seek “Intentional Faith” by way of godly wisdom not worldly wisdom.
Verse on Wisdom:
Proverbs 19:8
He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who cherishes understanding prospers.
He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who cherishes understanding prospers.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
We thank you for your unfailing love through Christ. Thank you for your word that fills us to overflowing and equips us for every good work you call us to in Christ. Father I ask for your wisdom to bring us understanding and knowledge so that we may be filled with the attributes of purity; peace; love; consideration; submission not only to you Father but those who are over us and in authority. My request for your sons and daughters: Through the power of your infallible word, Christ and The Holy Spirit in us teach to number our days so yes we may gain a heart of wisdom, so that we may grow in maturity; through wisdom, grace and in love. We thank you for blessing and establishing the works of our hands. We thank you for the countless victories you bring to each of our lives... Help us to leave a lasting legacy of virtuous values. In Jesus name we pray-AMEN!
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
In Christ Love,
