My dear brothers (sisters), take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’ anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.  James 1:19-20 James the Lords brother did not mince words.  I love that about James. The characteristics today would be just like the Nike statement JUST DO IT! I have a friend and a sister in Christ that facilitated the Bi-monthly Bible Study group my daughter and I attended,  named Cheryl. Her attitude of strength is inspiring; don't complain about the circumstance resolve the issues with the tools given; The Bible, Just Do It ... Her family knows that’s her heart, resolve the issue at hand don’t just ponder, and talk about it.  It’s a good statement coming from a point of strength, and it just states the resolution; [.The tools for resolving life' issues are in the scriptures... feeding the soul and filling us with godly wisdom, through humility, courage more importantly the love of Christ in us.  “But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.” James 1:22 NASB Simply be HUMBLE, and just do it!  Solomon states in the Proverbs Humility before Honor-Proverbs 16:18  James and Peter in their writings state the same: God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. 1 Peter 5:5; James 4:6- Humility is the key reference, ... and love that binds all things under our Lord's divine guidance.


Definition of Humble
Humble- Marked by meekness or modesty; not arrogant or prideful; “a humble apology’; “essentially humble… and self-effacing, he achieved the highest formal honors and distinctions –B. K. Malinowski
Humility-Noun- A disposition to be humble; a lack of false pride; “not everyone regards humility as a virtue”.   A humble feeling; “he was filled with humility as the sight of the Pope.   There are 71 verses in the New International Version that speak of the benefits of being humble….Biblical  speaking Jesus is that perfect representation of that grace, humility and love.  Here is the command: all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward the one another, because, ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6


Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
We Thank you for those Holy Scriptures that fills till over flowing with you unfailing love… We thank you for the word that is active and alive within our hearts dividing the joints, marrow and discerning the attitudes of the heart.  O’ that you would create in us a pure heart, full of grace upon grace, humility and most precious of all Love, the love of Christ!  May you guard us in those times of tribulations; at work, at home in communication that no weapon of the enemy would prevail.  Forgive me Father for out of this servant’s mouth much sin pours out… That I would also forgive those whom would sing against me… Please bless them.  I lift up each heart reading this prayer, that you would open the eyes of their hearts.  For some of us that you would remove the heart of stone and create a new heart of flesh.  That we would also encourage one another daily, with your Holy Word that has been sown in our hearts.  Redeem us by your word; clean us with the blood of the Lamb Jesus Christ, by the word of his testimony.  I thank you Father for the opportunity to pray, I thank you Father for the advanced answers to this prayer and all the prayers put before your throne of grace.  In Jesus Name Amen!
