He withholds No Good thing for the Righteous

God's Word: For the LORD God is a sun and a shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; He withholds no good thing from those who walk with integrity  ...  Psalm 84:11  

Wisdom Shared:  We are in the 2nd full week of the New Year, and the circumstances we are facing as Americans in these United States has us in a state of turmoil ... devastation and great loss, we are facing a government shut down.  I am not meaning to get political, those conversations do not go to a reasonable or respectful place.  And because of that I refrain from those topics of conversation...truthfully they turn grievous and divisive.  However in this season of the partial government shut down it is day 24...and my thoughts go to the families who are not receiving a salary for their hard work.  Those government employees - civil servants of these United States are part of battle of wills that they have no control over.  And truthfully, they are part of battle not of their doing or choice. It hurts my heart each time I think about how difficult it is to live in this time while receiving a salary. I just cannot image not receiving a salary, still having to pay a mortgage, rent, car, insurance, groceries, school tuition, utilities... the list goes on ... and on.  I can most definitely empathize, I live on a fixed income and the financial struggle at times is difficult ... I am thankful to God for all he does.  It is tough times like these we need the intervention of Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us to the wisdom of God's journey for each of our lives in Him.  We need to pray for those facing this season of uncertainty regarding their financial positions; and meeting their financial obligations ...  The Lord rescues us in our great time of need.  He is a shield ... He equips his people with wisdom; The Proverbs state: For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;He is a shield to those who walk with integrity, to guard the paths of justice and protect the way of His saints.… Proverbs 2:6-8

He is our sun and shield no good thing does he withhold from those who walk in integrity. The Psalms state; For the LORD God is a sun and a shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; He withholds no good thing from those who walk with integrity  ...  Psalm 84:11

Prayer; Please pray for those families that are employed in the United States Government Services being effected financially due to the shut down.
