God's Promise
Love, for the Day is
Near
Let no debt remain outstanding,
except the continuing debt to love one another,
for he who loves his fellowman
has fulfilled the law.
The commandments, "Do not commit
adultery," "Do not murder,"
"Do not steal," "Do not
covet,"[a] and
whatever other commandment there may be,
are summed up in this one rule:
"Love your neighbor as yourself."
Love does no harm to its neighbor.
Therefore love is the fulfillment of
the law
Romans 13:8-10 (NIV)
Wisdom Shared:
I wrote this study during a difficult time with a sister in the fellowship, truth be known ... I never loved her,
or considered her a friend... Why you ask? Because the words of her heart were fiery darts, judgmental, unloving down right mean spirited. It was the
workings of evil bound within her angry heart that sprung from her tongue. [My mother feels strongly
about the word evil and disapproves when I say it.] But truthfully Beloved, evil does exist and
is prevalent especially when we
Christians have UN-confused sin in our lives... When it comes to sins of omission and
commission we must seek God in truth, repentance, and in love for the revelations and
illuminations in the journey of faith. In regard to this sister, she had done something so
intrusive and destructive, not to me but to my then teenage daughter. When I
confronted her the conversation was unproductive down right disturbing. The fact was she was not prepared to receive the truth of her unloving behavior. I
fasted and prayed about her response...The grievous part of all of this was confronting the situation and her
attitude wasn't of a loving sister in Christ ...done in love; I also shared that with my friend a sister in Christ, -Basically it comes down to this one point; it's not what we
say to one another it becomes a
matter of the heart.- Regardless how right we may be if its not directed
in love then our intention is futile.

Corinthians Chapter 13 Addresses these issues of the heart.:
Are we loving, patient and kind; are
we counting wrongs; are we behaving arrogantly;
boastful...Peter stated; love covers
a multitude of sins...I shared this with my friend I believe that it is confirmation to the fact without love we can do no good
thing...It's hard to love our neighbor as ourselves. It is only through
Christ we can love this way.
I was led to 1 Thessalonians 5- Final Instructions 3 times in one
day-along with my reading this morning which prompted me to share. The
only that matters is faith expressing itself through love. Galatians 5:6- Love
is patient, love is kind-1 Corinthians 13:4-I am not a patient or kind person
so I must rely on Christ for those attributes with a host of others-In looking
at the Final Instructions as written by Paul through the Holy Spirit; It breaks
down to this point; In order to speak in someone's life we must love and
respect-speaking through joy-living through the joy of the Lord that is our
strength-Nehemiah 8:10. Being thankful to God the Father in all our
circumstance and prayerful over the words of our mouth that bring power of life
or death-From the fruit of his lips a man is filled with good things as surely
as the work of his hands rewards him. Proverbs 12:14
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
