Let The Peace of Christ Rule!

God’s Word- Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15
Encouragement Shared:
Let the peace of God rule sisters! There is a peace that is beyond all understanding that only comes from the power of Christ in us with the counsel of the Holy Spirit directing us. Therefore we do not become weary or lose heart. We do not become fearful in times of trouble. Instead we look to word of God that sustains, strengthens through the Almighty’s all sufficient grace. Yes sisters may I remind you that his grace is sufficient that in are weakness he strengthens us. Peace is not the absence of difficulties; tragedies; or pain. Peace is resting leaning on the everlasting all sufficient God and Savior Jesus Christ! – Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27 The peace according to the world’s perspective is about power, prestige, pride and possessions. The biblical perspective of peace comes from recognizing that God is in control even when the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, even when the waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. God is within you daughters of the King, we will not fail. [Psalm 46] I close with this one last thought sisters; In the midst of our troubles he preserves our life. Psalm 138:7 “To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his. What he tears down cannot be rebuilt; the man he imprisons cannot be released. If he holds back the waters, there is drought; if he lets them loose, they devastate the land. To him belong strength and victory; both deceived and deceiver are his. Job 12:13-14 Trust and believe sisters if God is for you who can be against you? Fear not he has called you by name; we belong to him. [Isaiah 43]
Heavenly Father,How excellent is your name before all the earth, the mountains bow down before you, oceans cry out to you… We rejoice at the victories you bring your daughters. Thank you for your redeeming grace. Thank you for the gift of Jesus. Your daughters seek to live as obedient children; to judge, justly, love mercy, to walk humbly before you and forgive others as you have forgiven us. We will live in perfect peace because we will keep our minds steadfastly on you. Let us follow the command and allow the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, since we are members of one body we are called to peace. And to be thankful in all things at all times. In Jesus name we pray…Amen!
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
Jennifer Pettiford
