Colossians 1:5 brings to mind – 2 Corinthians 1:10 – He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, … We must sow the word of God on the tablet of our hearts in order to gain the wisdom and the understanding of the blessed hope through Christ. We are save through grace and not of ourselves that is the blessed hope of eternity. So let us rejoice in Christ whom saved us from death.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,We thank you for marvelous works that are too numerous to count. We thank you for the living hope that is Christ. Protect us father from the deadly peril of the evil one. Thank you for the forgiveness of our transgressions and sins. May the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable to you-Father you are our rock and redeemer. Let us forgive others with power of Christ in us through mercy, love and grace, just as you have forgiven us. Increase our faith through the power of you word that brings forth the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for your daughters in heaven and that each of your daughters have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel… We thank you Father for delivering us your daughters from deadly peril and grow through the grace and peace that you so graciously provide for those whom believe through Christ, the power of your awesome word you breathed out for us. We thank you for the victory of the deliverances from our former life to our new life in Christ. In Jesus name we pray…Amen!
