Remember 9/11/01 Our Nation was attacked...

God’s Promise
...if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles
The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. Psalm 34:7

Today marks the day that our country was attacked in New York City 9/11…
My prayers go out to those families that lost loved ones. As I watched the news, it is apparent that it‘s business as usual. The major network I watched did not even broadcast the memorial service live at the location in New York City, or the moments of silence or the reading of the names. I thought to myself, how sad we have move on and not necessarily forgotten what happened on this date, it’s just the fact that it doesn’t have the importance that it should. Most certainly we lost the focus on the Lord through Christ. It certainly was present on that fatal day. It was most definitely there as the stories of the many survivors unfolded, they were thanking God. I also remember seeing many cars displaying the words “God Bless America” eight years later that attitude of gratitude for Christ being in the midst has dissipated over time.
He Renews our youth, He restores our souls
On a personal note 9/11/00 was the date that I suffered kidney and congestive heart failure, a year later was the beginning of a whole new life with Christ. Thank you Lord! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits- who forgives all our sins; and heals your diseases. He renews our youth like the eagles Psalm 103 I called out to the Lord and he saved me out of all my troubles. Psalm 34 That verse became for me a reality for the health tragedy I suffered, it also became the foundation of restoration through God’s redeeming grace.
His ways are higher than our ways
God Plans are perfect, today as I was getting prepared for my day, my iphone crashed… Not a good time, actually no time would be a good time. The last time this happened everything was lost. It took hours to get the phone up and running again. I called Apple Tech Support, I was so aggravated, until I realized there are worse things in life than a phone crashing. While I was on the phone with the Apple iphone tech support rep Greg (by the way an hour and half) I shared my testimony and God’s glory which is my story. I shared how Christ died for us. I share the good news and this lovely man Greg was so inspired to receive that our Lord is truly in control. He said that I’d probably lost all the information on my iphone and that there was a specific reason this happened and I then said, so that I could share the good news of Christ with you. He also made mention that I was the most pleasant customer he ever spoke to during a iphone crash and restore. God answered my prayer from Wednesday, evening’s prayer meeting: Provide your people with those divine appointments to share the good news. The righteous cry out, and He hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. I will never forget what this date means to me personally. I will be faithful to life up those families that lost love one’s on this memorable day our nation was attacked. Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not his benefits; who forgives all our sins, and heals our diseases…Thank you Lord!
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
