God's Word Brings Strength!

God's Promise

My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.
Psalm 119:28

Encouragement Shared
Sing songs of praise! As morning dawns and evening fades we are faithful to sing songs of praise Psalm 65... What a beautiful way to worship our Lord and King Jesus by singing songs of praise regardless of the outward circumstance...This verse brings to mind Psalm 30 Weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Joy always comes in the morning that is God's Promise. Because the joy of the Lord is our strength. Christ is the joy of the Lord and our strength, our refuge and deliverer...He will strengthen you according to His awesome word of truth. God is awesome, and I reserve that word awesome only for the things of God.

Our present sufferings bring HIS glory
…Our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Our personal struggles and circumstance during difficulties we are facing in this season of our lives gives us reason and an excellent opportunity to call out to the Lord, draw closer to him. Our circumstance should not dictate our disposition. Paul’s final instructions: Be joy and thankful in all circumstance for this God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Isaiah encourages in the Old Testament Scriptures;
Those whom wait upon the Lord will not grow weary...Your strength will be renewed...
... those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

That verse Isaiah 40:31 is on display before me daily in my kitchen.

A good friend Gail broke it down for me years ago.
Gail shared the verse states; those whom wait on the Lord. will renew their strength. -

So the revelation of what that verse means hit me when she shared that
with me. We do not grow weary if we are waiting on the Lord, the next point, when we are waiting on the Lord he sustains, strengthens us through His righteous right hand.

but those whom wait on the Lord will renew their strength.;
Lamentations 3:25-27
The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.
Psalm 51:10Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

They will soar on wings like eagles;
Psalm 103:5
who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

The will run and not grow weary;
Hebrews 12:3

Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Revelation 2:3

You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.

They will walk and not be faint;
Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
.

In life there are storms
It is during the storms of life we grow closer and are strengthened by his word of truth.
I can honestly share with you I speak from a personal experience in regard to life tragedies which is life; Divorce, to being single, single parenting; chronic illness; broken relationships; job losses; and having doors closed on me leading me to financial difficulties. The God who call us is faithful and will meet every need.
So ...we do not grow weary or lose heart; Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9

Verse for Today

Isaiah 58:11
The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
