The Confidence of God Brings Perseverence

God’s Promise …do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. Hebrews 10:35-36

Hebrews 10:34-39
-You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while, "He who is coming will come and will not delay. But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him. But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.

Encouragement Shared:
We need to persevere in godly confidence and not shrink back, so we can do the will of God, and receive the promise. The Bible shows us that the children of Israel did not receive the promise; they did not enter the promise land.

When we look at the transformation that occurs in us when we accept Christ as our personal savior our perspective about things; power and position should reflect the new creation in Christ. As we grow in God’s grace that confidence in some seasons seems to dissipate; this can happen very easily if we are not careful. We need to be diligent and watchful, submit, delight and commit to God the Father. We need to stand firm in the faith, being devoted to pray and study the scriptures to apply them to every area of our life. This is preparation for the on going battles on going in the heavenly realms unseen by the human eye. The Bible prepare us so that when the day of evil comes we will not be tempted. The bible also states that there is no temptation that is common to man will over take you, God is faithful and will always provide an escape. 1 Corinthians 10:13 (Amplified Bible) puts it this way: For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently.

Be Still, Be Patient:
The Bible encourages us; Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; Psalm 37 In other words when we summit ourselves to God, resist the enemy and he will flee from us. [James 4:7] Our responsibility is: We must submit to God first. Beloved, we have been given more grace. [Psalm 84:11] My encouragement is to grow in wisdom and godly confidence through reading the word of God. Then put on The Armor of God daily – [Ephesians Chapter 6:10-20] and you will be protected against the enemy’s schemes.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
