His Grace is suffiecient...His power will rest on you!

God's Word
"This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb:I am the LORD, who has made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself, 'They shall be built,' and of their ruins, 'I will restore them,'
Isaiah 44:24;26b
Restoration in the midst of all things …
The Psalmist write in the midst of my troubles you preserve my life. [Psalm 138]
It is in the midst of the troubles and the trails that you will grow. Most times we are eager for the troubles and/or trials to pass. In my own life I often ask my self why is this happening. Father please reveal to me what it is I need to learn from this trouble or trail. Is it a consequence of sin? God is faithful to always reveal the truth especially if we are willing to ask in order to grow from it. As I prepared for the day, I woke up at my usual 5:45AM, woke up Jessica; made my bed, put on the coffee and got before the Lord. My plan for the day, was to drop off Jessica and come home and go lay down. I had a restless night. Then as I read the word of God, his plan unfolded for my day. I had the worship channel on and one of the verses that was displayed… But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
His plan is best
His plan that I stay focused in Christ, and not self, circumstance or my insufficiencies. As I prepared for the day it brought to mind one of my many hospital stays; this particular time I needed a blood transfusion because my blood was clotting during dialysis and my blood line was cut off the dialysis machine. I had lost a lot of blood in the process and became anemic as a result. While I was having the transfusion, the nurse tending to me ask how is it you remain so positive in your circumstance. And I took a long breath I looked at my mother whom was sitting at my side, then I looked at the nurse and said: I have not suffered to the point that I have shed blood as Christ did for my sins. Then I began to cry because I knew my choice to live a life of sin put in the present circumstance that I was currently in. So I must receive the consequence and not lose heart because of chastening. [Read Hebrews 12:3-5 ]
In the midst of that storm God preserved my life, and restored me to a miraculous healing through his word of truth. [Psalm 107:20] The encouragement for us; be joyful in hope and prayerful in affliction [Romans 12] These are the qualities through Christ that sustains us as we grow in godly wisdom and in His grace.
Rejoice in faith, grace and glory
We have been justified by faith; we have peace through Christ with God. Through Christ we have full access by faith into his grace. His grace is ALL sufficient; in our weaknesses we are strengthened. So we rejoice in the hope of God, not that we hope in what we see; we put our hope in what is unseen in his grace and glory. Yes, He gives us grace and glory! It is by His All sufficient grace we rejoice in our trails and/or sufferings because our sufferings produces; perseverance, and perseverance character; and character hope. Hope in God never disappoints because, he has poured out his love by the power of Christ and the Holy Spirit living in us.
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
