God’s Word: For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess

Encouragement Shared:
When we love the LORD our God we are willing and obedient. God states through Isaiah the Prophet; I will give you the best of the Land. Our prayer: open the eyes of our heart so that we can see your glory through the hope you have called us to; the glorious inheritance of your riches. [Ephesians 1] Earth is a temporal state; we are to set our eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith. [Hebrews 12] We are aliens; [1 Peter 2:11] I think about Abram who God renamed Abraham, he was a flawed man, but through his willingness and obedience God gave him blessings bigger than Abraham could ever think, ask or imagine.

A Manuel for Living:
God’s word is a manual for living. Every life circumstance is addressed in the word of God. The word of God redeems; restores our souls; sanctify us for living a life according to God’s purpose. Yes, it is through the word of God we receive purpose for our lives. His word is not burdensome as some would state, in fact the word states that idyllic things are beast of burden[Isaiah 46:1]. Examples; work; material possessions; over obsessing on self; extremes on things that are not godly focuses… The list of idyllic things can be endless; if we are not careful we can easily get caught up in things having well-meaning intentions. To love God is to obey his commands because they are not burdensome [1 John 5:3 ]

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, Thank you for your word that gives us you purpose and direction. Thank you for the living hope that is Jesus. Let your daughters see the beauty of your word that is not burdensome. Thank you for preparing us for the call on our lives. Your daughters love you Father and we desire to obey your commands. We thank you Father for the many victories that you bring us. In Jesus name we pray-AMEN!
