Pray for Our Husbancs to Love Christ First...
just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her…

Encouragement Shared:
My encouragement today is not for God to change our husbands but for us to pray for unity in our marriages. Also that we would pray for the eyes of our heart would be enlightened so that we may love our husbands exactly where they are at. The truth is Jesus loves us right where we are at, not where we supposed be. Our prayer should be that our husbands would love Christ first. I look at my parents Martha and Vincent as I observe my step-father Vincent his biggest strength is that he loves Christ first. The result of his love for Christ is that love is the bond of unity in their marriage. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,We thank you for your word of truth that continually equips your daughters to do every good word we are called to do. May we be obedient to your word; let love and faithfulness never leave us; bind them around our neck, write them on the tablet of our heart. Strengthen us through the power of Christ, your word and the power of the “Holy Spirit” at work us and in our husbands – We will be faithful to pray for our husbands may they love Christ first, may they love their wives just as Christ loves the church, and gave himself up for her. Thank you for the counsel of your word to create in our marriages the unity of love, reverence and faithfulness. In Jesus name we pray…Amen!
