Promise of Restoration

God's Word: The Sovereign Lord has given me his words of wisdom, so that I know how to comfort the weary. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will. Isaiah 50:8

Encouragement Shared:  This morning when I woke up I had a song in my heart.  With much thanksgiving and praise the song in my heart : Give Me Jesus:  In the morning when I rise ...Give me Jesus.... Give me Jesus --- Give me Jesus - You can have all this world Just give me Jesus ----

As we draw closer to God, the issues that seem to have gotten under one's skin seem less irritating and no longer a distraction that lead to destruction.  Growing in wisdom and understanding allows us to throw off all sinful nature; 

.... " Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy." Ephesians 4:23-24

 

That is evidence of transformation from the old you to the new mature, wise and grace-filled Beloved of God, more Christ like.  Thank you Father for leading us through your truth, because your word is all truth empowering us to leave the old nature behind.  Shining through the power of Christ in Us with the power of the Holy Spirit leading and guiding us to the awesome call for our lives in Christ   Thank you for the songs you put in our hearts ... Thank you for all you do in us and through us.  Help us to have a heart of wisdom and seeking to live in obedience that brings us your glory.  In Jesus name ---- AMEN!

Promises of Israel’s Restoration

8 This is what the Lord says:

“At just the right time, I will respond to you.[d]
    On the day of salvation I will help you.
I will protect you and give you to the people
    as my covenant with them.
Through you I will reestablish the land of Israel
    and assign it to its own people again.
9 I will say to the prisoners, ‘Come out in freedom,’
    and to those in darkness, ‘Come into the light.’
They will be my sheep, grazing in green pastures
    and on hills that were previously bare.
10 They will neither hunger nor thirst.
    The searing sun will not reach them anymore.
For the Lord in his mercy will lead them;
    he will lead them beside cool waters.
11 And I will make my mountains into level paths for them.
    The highways will be raised above the valleys.
12 See, my people will return from far away,
    from lands to the north and west,
    and from as far south as Egypt.[e]”

13 Sing for joy, O heavens!
    Rejoice, O earth!
    Burst into song, O mountains!
For the Lord has comforted his people
    and will have compassion on them in their suffering.
