Joy and Gladness will Over-Whelm You ,,,
God's Word for You: Joy and gladness will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee. Isaiah 35:10
Encouragement Shared: The book of Galatians exhorts us that perseverance brings us a harvest of righteousness if we don't give up... I am reading the books of Isaiah and Galatians in my daily journey through the Bible in One Year... And today I was prompted to share the encouragement of redemption and its' limitless joy and gladness. It also brought to mind for me to share Hebrews chapter 12 ~ In regards to discipline; the truth is self discipline is a characteristic that we cannot maintain without the power of God's word written on our hearts. We must allow the power of Christ in us to empower us through the power of the Holy Spirit to guide us in our emotional distresses. If we are not careful to allow the Holy Spirit to lead, direct and guide us we fall into much peril. The fruit of the spirit is; .. love, joy,peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The law is not against such things. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-25
The writer of Hebrews exhorts by stating that; No discipline seems pleasant at the time but the truth is in the big picture it definitely will open way to much pain and hardship. Looking at my very own life I see the results through the consequence of my choices and actions in many areas of my life.And the Lord surely knows I have suffered the consequences of my very own disobedience. Discipline from God the Father produces righteousness and peace when we have been trained by it...Yes, we need the glory of God through Christ to transform us to a place of peace. Strengthening us in our weaknesses opening way for level paths so that through our frailty we will be healed, [Read Hebrews 12:11-13] We must claim the promises of Gods word, most importantly write them on the tablet of our hearts.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

Isaiah 35
The Ransomed Return to Zion
The wilderness and the dry land will be glad;
the desert will rejoice and blossom like a wildflower.
2 It will blossom abundantly
and will also rejoice with joy and singing.
The glory of Lebanon will be given to it,
the splendor of Carmel and Sharon.
They will see the glory of the Lord,
the splendor of our God.
3 Strengthen the weak hands,
steady the shaking knees!
4 Say to the cowardly:
“Be strong; do not fear!
Here is your God; vengeance is coming.
God’s retribution is coming; he will save you.”
5 Then the eyes of the blind will be opened,
and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
6 Then the lame will leap like a deer,
and the tongue of the mute will sing for joy,
for water will gush in the wilderness,
and streams in the desert;
7 the parched ground will become a pool,
and the thirsty land springs.
In the haunt of jackals, in their lairs,
there will be grass, reeds, and papyrus.
8 A road will be there and a way;
it will be called the Holy Way.
The unclean will not travel on it,
but it will be for the one who walks the path.
Fools will not wander on it.
9 There will be no lion there,
and no vicious beast will go up on it;
they will not be found there.
But the redeemed will walk on it,
10 and the redeemed of the Lord will return(BD)
and come to Zion with singing,
crowned with unending joy.
Joy and gladness will overtake them,
