God's Word - Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24
A Prayer … Psalm 139
O LORD, you have searched your Sons and your Daughters
and you know him/her. You know when he/she sits and when he/she rises;
you perceive our thoughts from afar.
You discern your Son's/Daughter’s going out and lying down;
you are familiar with all our ways.
Before a word is on Son's/Daughter’s tongue
you know it completely, O LORD.
You hem your people in—behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon us.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for us,
too lofty for your people to attain.
Where can your Sons or Daughters go from your Spirit?
Where can we flee from your presence?
and you know him/her. You know when he/she sits and when he/she rises;
you perceive our thoughts from afar.
You discern your Son's/Daughter’s going out and lying down;
you are familiar with all our ways.
Before a word is on Son's/Daughter’s tongue
you know it completely, O LORD.
You hem your people in—behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon us.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for us,
too lofty for your people to attain.
Where can your Sons or Daughters go from your Spirit?
Where can we flee from your presence?
Heavenly Father...Thank you for drawing us near by your spirit and by your word. Lead us to the rock that is higher than us - Jesus! In our victories and joys lead us to live according to your will. In our tragedies and sorrows lead us to healing revelations for a better tomorrow...May we grow in wisdom and grace through the obedience of your word. Let us live for you Father ... so that we can shine in your glory opening a way to your salvation for others. Preserve us as you continually do... Thank by your Holy Spirit and in the name of you son. Jesus Christ! - AMEN!
The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 1 Timothy 1:5
Wisdom Shared: Happy New Year!
Beloved ... As we enter a New Year, it is a new beginning to attain for excellence. Do not make unreasonable resolutions that will only discourage or dissuade you. Instead, ask God to lead you by His Holy Spirit through the power of Christ in you... To draw closer to the living God, for divine purpose through his divine direction. My personal prayer is to pray over the scriptures to live a holy life; to reveal truth and justice, to set goals and standards to attain God's purpose and will for my life. Tp love with intention and focus on the more important things; faith, hope and more importantly love with a pure heart with a clear conscience.
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
In Christ Love,
Jennifer Pettiford
