God’s Word – O daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you— if you find my lover, what will you tell him? Tell him I am faint with love. Song of Song 5:8

Encouragement Shared:

As I read the verse in Song of Song, it is a plea of a bride searching for her missing groom. It is a picture of us being separated from Christ. In our sufferings we must cling to the cross, consider the trials as joys that is blessed hope of Christ working in us increasing our faith, refining us through perseverance, character, and hope. [James 1] As we go thorough trails, joys are not at the top of our minds. As we go through trials we must remember to search our hearts and ask; Is this really a trial or is it a consequence for sin? So often the pride of our heart decieves us and brings us low. Obediah 1;3-4 Pride hides and lies to us keeping us in blindness. Sisters, the scriptures state; We must go through many hardships before we enter the kingdom. [Acts 14:22] Our faith is exercised by our reaction through our actions in the midst of our troubles. The Psalmist writes in the midst of our troubles you [God the Father] preserve our life. Psalm 138:7

All Sufficient Grace:

His grace is sufficient in our moments of weakness if we seek the Lord he strengthens us. Cling to the promise of God’s word through Christ. Seek his for his strength continually. God is Love; we love because he first loved us. [1 John 4] Sisters let us not forget that God is “Faithful” in all he does. We are going to move forward in Praying through God’s Word through The Faithfulness of God.

Introduction to Forty Days of Prayer- Faith – God’s Faithfulness-

The one who calls you is faithful! [1 Thessalonians 5] So as we enter this journey through his faithfulness, sisters write those verses that speak to you personally on the tablet of your heart. Let God’s love and faithfulness never leave you. Bind them on the tablet of you heart. Let the Holy Spirit come in and lead you through counsel of God’s Word that is truth.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,We thank you for the victories that come through your word of truth, we know that your word is truth. We thank you Father for washing us clean through your word of truth. We thank you Father for word that came to life that is Christ. We desire your Holy Spirit to show us your ways, show us your paths, and teach us your truth on you we will wait all the day long. Thank you for your fogiveness of our sins. May you God, the God of peace, sanctify your daughters through and through. May your daughters whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your word teaches us the one who calls you us faithful and will do it. And that is you Father, thank you for increasing our strength, increasing our faith and wisdom through the power of the word. In Jesus name we pray…Amen!
