The exchange at the Cross; Shame for Glory…

God’s Word – He gives us grace and glory. Psalm 84:11
Encouragement Shared:God’s Promise for GLORY…The exchange at the Cross; Shame for Glory…The opposite of Shame is Glory! Focus on the Glory that waits for you;The Psalmist writes; He gives us grace and glory. Psalm 84:11The treasure: grace and the glory of God! 2 Corinthians 4:13-18 –It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.”With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence. “All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.” Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Grace and Truth:
Let go of the shame embrace God’s glory though the word of truth that gives us grace and glory! The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.[John 1 Recommended Reading ] John informs us the Law came through Moses but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. As we move forward and go through the rhythm of the day Give thanks to Lord because he is GOOD! He gives us grace and glory through the power of Jesus in us. From the fullness of his [ Jesus’] grace we have all received one blessing after another. John 1:16 So I find myself thinking I have no grace; through God’s word we are reminded the grace is His. It is only through God we have grace. The Bible states; God is able to make all things possible for those who believe! God is ABLE to make all grace abound to us so that in all things at all times being equipped with all our need, we will succeed in every good work we are called to. [2 Corinthians 9 ] That truly is remarkable and exciting! God the Father saved us not because of the righteous things we do, he saved us because of his mercy and grace. He saved us through the washing of rebirth by the “Holy Spirit” whom he poured out in us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by faith and not works, but by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. [Titus 3]My prayer for you today saints may his GRACE abound in you as you continue to put you trust in him…Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,Love in Christ,Jennifer Pettiford
